Meditations for a Pandemic
The COVID 19 pandemic wounded and battered everyone differently. One effect for me - I had a difficult time finding the spirit and silence to make art. A friend and I, to support each other through the isolation, texted pertinent quotes to each other. This is where I found encouragement to create a series of pieces, Meditations for a Pandemic. Another avenue that supported this creativity was an agreement with my teacher, mentor, friend Jane Dunnewold to share the creating process with her through an Independent Study. With each piece, I have shared the inspiring quote.
